Personal Statement

I have more than thirty years working with individuals, couples, and groups. Equally important, I have a lot of empathy, compassion, and positive regard for my clients. I have training in many areas, ranging from early psychodynamic training, gestalt, cognitive work, and trauma and stress training. I consider myself eclectic, and focus on the needs of the client.

I work with short (stress, careers etc) and long term (loss, trauma, abuse) issues. Addiction work is part of my practice as well; and sometimes people want to discuss spiritual/religious issues. I am familiar with working with people of all races and sexual orientations.

I offer confidential psychotherapy with over 30 years of experience in private practice. I believe in guiding every person toward more effective functioning in his/her life. I work toward helping people reach their highest potential for good self-esteem, inner peace, release of pain and negativity and increased success in their personal and professional lives.
