Personal Statement

I have 40 years of experience working in the field of mental health and substance abuse. This includes, long term mental illness, affective disorders, trauma issues and issues related to drug addiction and alcoholism, including, not only working with addiction, but also working with those who have ACOA, codependency, domestic violence, and self esteem issues.

While I maintain a compassionate and kind approach, my goal is to assist people in moving forward in their lives, developing strong boundaries, and becoming independent, so as to thrive in their families and communities.

I am taking new clients and would appreciate an opportunity to meet with you or talk with you on the phone, so you can determine if you feel comfortable with my style, and if I would be a good fit for you.
