Personal Statement

I enjoy working with clients who are motivated to work on the issues they see as having had negative impact in their lives or issues that they feel are holding them back from living the life they want and having the relationships they want to have.

I have experience working with depressive disorders, anxiety disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorders. I have also worked with those needing help with anger management, coping skills and parenting education. I have experience in working with people who have chronic diseases including, chronic kidney disease and HIV.

I believe, from personal and professional experience, that therapy can have a profound effect on how satisfied and fulfilled we feel in our lives. I feel that too often we carry negative feelings and behaviors that are counter productive to living our best life. With the right therapist, and the desire to change, there is hope for a better life.
