Personal Statement
I have known from early on that helping others was my calling and therefore I made therapy my career. Clients come to me not for me to fix their problems, but for me to help them heal from their past and find solutions in their present. I believe that therapy is a two-way process.
I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, college students as well as symptoms ranging from acute to chronic and severe. I work with clients with various problems and diagnoses, but I specialize in the treatment of trauma, codependency as well as depression and anxiety. My training and experience is broad, which provides me with a wide skill set to help clients with various problems. My most prized training is EMDR which is focused on the treatment of trauma.
Clients come to me not for me to fix their problems, but for me to help them heal from their past and find solutions in their present. I believe that therapy is a two-way process. In that sense we are a team, and therapy only works if we work together.
