Personal Statement
Every woman's journey is unique. Sometimes the journey is filled with unexpected challenges such as Parenting children with mental health issues, Addictions, Marital Struggles, Trauma, Health & Mental Disharmony. Feelings of brokenness, overwhelm, and despair can create feelings of being "stuck" or "lost," resulting in uncertainty about life's Purpose, personal Presence or identification of a plan to follow. When we feel overwhelmed and unsure about where we are "right now" in life, the core of our spirit can begin to feel numb. Operating from a crisis response can become the norm and feel very exhausting. It's then that professional guidance is required to successfully find physical, mental and emotional balance in life.
Restoring Connectiongs Counseling is prepared to help you. Through the use of Trauma-informed approaches in Narrative therapy, Action & Commitment Therapy, and/or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, we will collaborate and identify ways to achieve balance and harmony in your life journey. Mindfulness practices, stress reduction techniques, and spiritual conversations are just some of the tools used throughout our time together. Helping you achieve the "A-ha" moments of wisdom as you learn how to apply your strengths and values to your daily living are also things you can expect from our time together.
I am an Arizona State Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor who has multiple years of clinical work with adults from various stages of life and from a variety of diverse backgrounds. I am a strengths-based clinician who you will find to be present with you in session, realistic in approach and genuine in feedback and strategies for success. I look forward to journeying with you and helping you.
