Personal Statement

I am licensed in Utah and Nevada and I am familiar and knowledgeable with focusing on the challenges that can arise from your environment and I thrive on working with you to bring a greater awareness of your needs, as well as compassion for yourself as you are working, growing, changing, and transcending the issues that are causing stress or dysfunction. I am a passionate ally of the LGBTQIA plus community. I value and cultivate a safe space for every individual.

My therapeutic approach allows me to effectively serve people dealing with depression and anxiety to life transitions and complex trauma. I work from an integrative therapy lens, meaning, I am able to tailor my therapeutic technique to each client and each situation. I tend to primarily focus within evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, and ACT.

I have experience working with populations from diverse backgrounds, ethnicity, and sexual orientation. I can help you build the tools and perspective you need to create change. I will work to create a safe space for you to be authentically yourself. I received my Master’s in Social Work in 2019 and I hold a current LCSW license in Utah and Nevada.
