Personal Statement
I am humbled and fortunate to be working with fascinating and courageous individuals each day. My therapist believed in me even before I did; my ultimate hope is to share this with you. Together, we will explore your past and current issues and discover hope and meaning from them, attain growth, and work towards wellness and improved relationships. Both your personality and individual concerns are important to me. Because 'who you are' and 'what you are facing' are unique, the therapeutic styles/activities that we will incorporate into therapy will be specific to you.
Our therapy sessions will be casual, warm, respectful, engaging, and safe. Art, music, writing, and dream interpretation are just a few therapeutic means that you can incorporate into your treatment. I have extensive understanding of mental health concerns including: special needs, divorce/separation, depression, loneliness, anxiety, grief, life transitions, parenting, LGBTQ, and interculturalism.
Along with counseling couples and families, I have an affinity with: veterans, musicians, artists, teens & children, domestic abuse survivors & abusers, young mothers, sexual & mental abuse survivors, gamers, adults & children with ADD/ADHD, and adults raised by self-absorbed (Narcissistic) parents.

I am passionate about assisting in healing, recognizing strengths, and maintaining an authentic and safe therapeutic relationship. My psychotherapist believed in me even before I did and I hope to share this with you. We will work together to manage interpersonal relationships, financial/educational/career concerns, and daily stresses. You will uncover unconscious feelings, beliefs, and thoughts that affect your relationships and cause negative emotional and physical symptoms.
