Personal Statement

Kelly works with a wide range of age groups; primarily focusing on the adolescent, teenage and adult populations. Some struggles she commonly works include, but are not limited to, depression, self-harm, eating disorders, anxiety, life adjustments, ADHD, and substance abuse/dependence/education.

She understands the complications of being a teenager and the difficulties that come with growing up and finding your individuality. Due to the empathy and compassion she has with this topic, she builds strong rapport with her clients as well as their families to make the therapeutic process enjoyable and successful.

By taking on a holistic approach, she takes into account the individual’s psychological, physical, biological and social needs. She commonly utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy and client-centered therapy, as well as empowerment, positive psychotherapy and motivational techniques to help an individual gain their full potential to reach their goals.
