Personal Statement

Kathleen Manganaro is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor as well as Certified School Guidance and Adjustment Counselor. I have over 30 years experience working young adults and their families. For the past 23 years I have worked as a middle school counselor supporting students individually and in group settings navigate their way though adolescence. I am passionate about working with teens and helping them become successful, happy, young people!

This is an adolescent girls workshop to focus on skills to be empowered, independent, confident and respectful. We will explore issues tween/teen girls face around social situations and relationships, healthy vs unhealthy, self esteem and confidence and skills around communication and advocacy. This workshop will teach problem solving skills, build confidence and help girls work towards being a leader and not a follower
