Personal Statement
Empowering and facilitating personal and relational change, my style is warm and supportive as well as direct and authentic. Psychodynamically informed but cognitively/behaviorally results-oriented, through empirically validated techniques, I integrate compassion, direction and humor to cultivate insight and achieve goals. If you are experiencing low self-esteem, dissatisfaction with your life, relationship issues, stress, sadness, anxiety, lack of motivation or toxic anger, let's talk.
My graduate research focused on transpersonal perspectives on understanding human suffering. These experiences influenced my clinical work by making me more sensitive to the unique cultural and personal values that each client brings to the therapeutic process. I continue to put great importance on understanding, respecting, and working with the core values and beliefs of each client.
