Personal Statement
It is my strong belief that each patient is to be seen as unique, and as such, should receive all applicable modalities and treatment perspectives to meet their personalized clinical needs. I have twenty years experience working in diverse social and medical services providing individualized and couples therapies addressing an array of issues. I work in a comprehensive manner using all necessary treatment modalities to meet the client's needs. I also consult with lawyers, law enforcement agencies, and other medical and psychosocial professionals to assess and provide a comprehensive venue toward treatment outcomes.
I work closely with patients who face issues with domestic violence, infertility, substance abuse,identity/gender issues, adolescents, ADHD, eating disorders, PTSD, trauma and multiple medical complaints.
I specialize in treating Pre-Adolescent and Adolescent who present with disorders ranging from anxiety, phobias, depression, to more severe conduct like disorders. I accept referrals from New York and New Jersey. I work directly with several school districts--especially in the area of special education.

Office Address
Julie Wien LCSW, LLC
Julie L. Wien, psychotherapist, has noticed recently that there are some common concerns most often discussed in her practice: difficulty with face-to-face conversations because of the Technological Age, bullying (whether at school, the workplace, or at home) and an enormous increase in identifiable special needs cases and the impact on the child and the family. The rise of divorce, domestic violence, and substance abuse are also among those common concerns.
