Personal Statement
Does your inner critic feel relentless, pushing you to achieve the next goal and the one after that, as though you have to prove yourself to some invisible judge?
This is what happens when we feel not-good-enough, and it's exhausting. I would love to help you learn to calm your inner critic, to help it discover that there is no invisible judge. You can do well in the world without all the stress, worry, and toll on your health.
My favorite thing is helping clients learn to treat themselves with warmth and kindness. As they do, amazing things start to happen. They begin letting go of one-sided or unhealthy relationships. They discover how to set boundaries that give them more time and energy. Some make changes at work, finding ways to use their creativity, skills or interests so they feel more fulfilled. Most find that as they stop judging and criticizing themselves and others, they attract friends and colleagues who are more accepting and compassionate. The world starts to feel like a friendlier place.
If you'd like to turn your inner critic into a friend and even an ally, I would love to see if they way I work can help.
