Personal Statement
My practice emphasizes providing clients with holistic therapeutic services, focusing on complete health and wellness. I share the philosophy with many practitioners that holistic health depends upon spiritual, mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing. When one area is affected by stress, trauma, or negative behavior patterns, other areas of one’s being can suffer. I work to provide treatment that focuses on how to become whole and not on identifying clinical diagnoses that focus on illness. I want all my clients to receive individualized care based on their specific needs.
For patients trying to cope with chronic pain and other medical issues, I provide wellness therapy that expands their treatment beyond a clinical setting. I offer these patients alternatives to medicine and other medical procedures. The objective of this work is to provide individuals with tools that will help them manage pain and discover paths to healing.
In addition to these services, I provide holistic psychotherapy to individuals and couples. I offer specific services for adolescents, since this group faces special challenges during an already difficult developmental period. For adolescents and adults, I treat depression, anxiety, mood disorders, substance abuse, poor stress management, GLBTQ issues, grief, trauma, and many more difficulties. Couples may seek my guidance for conflict resolution, trust and adjustment issues, infidelity, communication issues, co-dependency, and more.

I believe in healing. I believe in the power of integrative therapy and holistic framework. I believe in the mind/body/spirit connection and that healing can take many forms. I believe in our ability to transform pain and suffering, to navigate deep and dark journeys of the self and to emerge brighter and stronger. I believe that we all need help sometimes and that we are stronger working together instead of alone.
