Jeremy Skow is a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) offering psychotherapeutic services from his private practice in Manhasset, NY. Additionally, he serves as the lead behavioral health clinician in the substance abuse outpatient program at Phoenix House, based on the campus of Pilgrim State Psychiatric in Brentwood, NY.

Mr. Skow specializes in emotional disturbances, low self-esteem, relationship issues and video game addiction. Whether you need open-ended therapy emphasizing self-exploration and personal growth or a more focused approach, his aim is to provide an environment that is validating, non-judgmental, and genuine, while at the same time encourage effective change. In addition to being an LMHC, Mr. Skow is a credentialed alcohol and substance abuse counselor (CASAC) recognized by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) as well as an MBA. He views chemical dependency as a progressive and pervasive disease that can affect every aspect of a person’s life. It can interfere with work, family stability and social relationships and impair physical and emotional health. Legal and emotional problems are common. If untreated, chemical dependency can lead to devastating consequences not only for the chemically dependent person but for the significant others in his or her life as well.
