Do you feel empty and confused, unsure what do with yourself if you don’t keep yourself busy or working towards the next big thing? Are you unable to appreciate where you are in life because of anxiety and constant fear of missing out? Or perhaps on paper your life seems to be perfect but, on the inside, you are feeling hopeless, sad and lonely. You don’t have to struggle alone. I work with adults who are struggling with anxiety, self- esteem issues, and/or navigating complex life transitions. My goal is to help you identify and manage emotions so that you can continue moving forward instead of feeling trapped and hopeless. I'll assist you in letting go of how things "should be" so that you can appreciate the small joys in life and be fully present in your relationships. As you become more comfortable in your own skin, you'll start building a more authentic life and genuine connections with yourself and others.
Clients I have supported say that after our sessions together, they no longer feel hopeless about life's challenges and have increased confidence in their coping skills and are more secure in their ability to overcome obstacles. They also notice improvements in their communication and confidence, leading to enriched personal relationships and enhanced performance and focus in the workplace.
I use a collaborative approach to therapy that is healing-oriented, with an emphasis on addressing the whole person. In addition to traditional talk therapy, my holistic approach may include natural lifestyle changes that will promote balance and optimize your overall health. It may involve incorporating movement into your day to help with depression/anxiety or learning mindfulness practices to build awareness and calm the nervous system. We work as a team to create the best treatment plan, and you will always have a voice.
My approach is integrative and personalized to suit your needs. I draw from several research-backed modalities, including mindfulness, self-compassion, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), with an emphasis on introspection and the exploration of one's inner thought life to promote personal growth and healing.
