Personal Statement

Jennifer Sartin began her career in substance abuse counseling in Las Vegas, Nevada. She has worked in addiction treatment at all levels of care. Jennifer was a substance abuse counselor at Intersection Las Vegas, a private treatment center that provided both residential and outpatient services for those suffering from alcohol and drug addiction. She has also worked as a substance abuse counselor at both Southern Desert Correctional Center and Florence McClure Women’s Correctional Center in Las Vegas. Both facilities provided inmates with a long-term therapeutic community environment to address substance abuse issues and aid in preparation for successful re-entry into society. Jennifer was subsequently hired by Nevada Department of Parole and Probation to conduct substance abuse evaluations that were used to determine the appropriate level of care. She has extensive experience with assessing clients and creating individualized treatment plans.

Jennifer Sartin is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in the State of Texas. She has personal experience with alcohol and drug addiction and is devoted to helping others achieve a solid, lasting recovery from the disease of addiction through proper guidance and support. Jennifer understands not only the clinical side of addiction, but has first-hand experience with the personal struggles of recovery. In this regard, her experience stands out in the field of substance abuse counseling.
