Personal Statement

My goal as a psychotherapist is to provide evidence-based interventions for individuals who are struggling and seek to make positive changes in their lives. I believe that a therapeutic alliance can be an essential factor in the healing process; therefore, my commitment is to help and support individuals by providing a safe environment where feelings and thoughts can be expressed freely, without judgment. My focus is to guide you in empowering yourself to improve your mental health, and ultimately, your overall well-being.

I am trained and certified as an Anger Management Trainer- Specialist. I am an active Member of The National Anger Management Association. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I am bilingual/bicultural (Mexican/American) and can provide psychotherapy in English and Spanish.

I understand no two individuals are the same, and I tailor our sessions together to address challenges unique to you. We will work together to understand the root cause of your struggles and address those issues with long-lasting strategies, helping you get closer to the life you've always wanted.
