Personal Statement

I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 13 years’ experience supporting individuals, couples, families, and caregivers. I specialize in helping people who struggle with anxiety, depression, and end of life issues. From my experience working as a hospice social worker, I have great insight into the challenges families and individuals face during this difficult time. It never ceases to amaze me how people face terminal illnesses with such grace. I have found that personal resiliency comes from finding closure and telling one’s life story. On the second Saturday of every month, I also facilitate a support group for caregivers.

Additionally, I offer a range of therapeutic services—solution focused therapy, narrative therapy, and other brief therapies—to help people move beyond fears and frustrations. The goal of providing therapy is to help individuals identify their unique challenges and find a path toward resolution and transformation. Individuals and couples may schedule sessions with me to work toward health, wellness, and lasting peace.

I am passionate about working with adults who are working through major life hurdles, whether that means a medical diagnosis, the loss of a loved one or a new life transition. In my spare time I enjoy yoga, running, cooking and reading.
