Personal Statement

As an experienced and devoted licensed clinical psychotherapist, Isaac has extensive experience working with children and families handling such issues as relationships, disruptive behaviors, divorce and school related concerns. Isaac specializes in the fields of relationship issues, trauma, eating disorders and psychosomatic pain.

Isaac is always reading up on the latest evidence based research and constantly receiving training in areas pertaining to his specialties and other fields of interest. It was in his training on Eating Disorders when he developed a highly successful therapeutic method called "Foundation Based Therapy." Based on the premise that we all wish to feel safe, secure and comfortable we adapt many behaviors and create situations to feel in control. It is once we realize we are no longer in control that anxiety, depression and other negative emotions set in. In the process of Foundation Based Therapy, Isaac will help clients create the foundation they wish to have in their lives and work on making that a reality. Through a journey of self-exploration, clients find the power within them to become the person they always wished they can be.
