Personal Statement

My passion for being a counselor stems from my belief in each person’s innate capacity for healthy growth and change. I have had the privilege of assisting children, families, teens, and adults in transforming their lives by reclaiming (and sometimes discovering) their sense of self and helping them strive to reach their goals.

I strive to encourage my clients to pursue the freedom that is found in discovering and being their authentic selves. In order to effectively assist clients in reaching their goals, I utilize a variety of evidence-based practices to best suit the needs of each individual client, honoring each person’s culture and preferences.
