Personal Statement

Helen Jimenez is the owner and psychotherapist of Out Stress. She is a licensed professional counselor, National Board Certified Counselor, and EMDR Certified Therapist. She has over 12 years of experience in mental health working with children, adolescents, and adults. She provides individual psychotherapy and EMDR therapy.

​Helen completed her bachelor's degree, graduating Cum Laude, with a double major in Psychology and Sociology from University of Houston. After completing her bachelor's degree she received a master's degree with a concentration in counseling from University of Houston-Victoria.

In her private practice, Helen includes a series of treatment models and uses EMDR therapy for specific conditions. Helen specializes in working with children, adolescents, and individual adults.
