Geralyn is experienced in providing therapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups utilizing different treatment modalities, such as, Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, Psycho Educational, and Solution Focused therapies, depending on the unique needs of the individual.
Many individuals struggling with depression and anxiety end up isolated feeling lonely, sad, and confused. Their relationships, jobs, and self esteem slowly deteriorating. They may blame themselves and feel inappropriate guilt or blame others becoming irritated and angry. They want to get back into life, to be able to laugh and live again. They need to understand that are ill and learn coping skills and other ways to manage their illness.
Her specialties include depression, anxiety, grief and loss, PTSD, substance abuse, skills training, and women’s issues. She believes that change is possible using a client centered, strength-based approach.
