Personal Statement

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Pastoral Counselor and Spiritual Director working in the Hudson Valley. I am available to see individuals, couples and families. My training includes psycho-dynamic therapy as well as cognitive behavioral therapy. I am also skilled in helping people deal with grief issues. I have an excellent understanding of dementia and can be helpful to individuals living with dementia and those who provide care for them. My practice is open to children as well as adults.

I have continued to work with children and adults and have done a great deal of work with the geriatric population, in particular, those living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia and their care-givers. People living with dementia are still very much alive. We do not always know what is going on with them, and it is my desire to help them live life to the full, whatever that might be for that particular person.
