Personal Statement

Understanding the dynamics of your mind and emotions helps increase empowerment, competence and satisfaction with life. In therapy, we carefully untangle the feelings and challenges which impact your well being. Through this process, you will develop insight into conflicts, negative patterns and ways past events inform your present ways of functioning. It leads into an increased capacity to make choices that feel healthier and more aligned with your goals. By having an improved awareness into the root causes of what feels difficult today, you will create a change that is long lasting.

I received specialized training at NYU in treating anxiety, struggles with self esteem, depression, life transitions and relationship challenges. I trained at the Institute for Psychoanalytic Training and Research in Child/Adolescent Therapy. I work collaboratively with parents/caretakers to improve the relationship with their child or teen.

Therapy is a space where self discovery, growth and healing can happen. Taking the first step in finding a therapist is a powerful move towards change.
