Personal Statement

I am a licensed psychologist with over 12 years of experience providing therapy and helping people to make the changes they want to see in their lives. I provide individualized and collaborative therapy designed to truly meet you where you are and to provide you with the experience that will help you to reach your goals. I am a warm and direct therapist; I believe in playing my cards "face up." That means that I share my thoughts, questions, and associations with you in a way that facilitates your own curiosity and perspective shifts. Beyond "just listening," I provide direct feedback that helps you to make changes and feel relief.

I often tell people you're the expert on yourself, and I'm the expert on the process of therapy; together, we combine our expertise to help you to grow.

I specialize in LGBTQ+ concerns, trauma, sex & sexuality, depression, and anxiety, though I am experienced in providing therapy to a very wide range of concerns and people.
