Personal Statement
Sometimes the path to recovery can seem insurmountable, but with help and a good plan you can get there! I am a licensed psychologist offering cognitive behavioral psychotherapy and assessment for individuals, couples, and groups. I see adult and adolescent clients with a wide range of mood, behavioral, and relationship problems. My therapeutic approach is integrative and evidence-based; providing support and education to help you effectively address personal life challenges and enhance well-being. I help you build on existing strengths, develop resiliency, overcome barriers to change, and discover the path to living an authentic and meaningful life.
One of my clinical specialties is in the area of psychological trauma and PTSD. I have particular expertise in post-traumatic growth, resiliency, and meaning-making following trauma, as well as the peripheral problems that tend to accompany traumatic experience: depression, insomnia, chronic pain, relationship problems, substance abuse, and anxiety.
I use evidence-based psychotherapies to ensure that you meet your goals effectively and quickly, while creating a sense of empathy and safety that allows you to grow.
