Personal Statement

I am a licensed psychologist. I trained to be present, real, approachable, and clear. I strive to be honest, connected, and supportive. My experience confirms that intention, commitment, and awareness leads to reliable transformation and healing.

I was born and raised in Israel, where I worked for many years as a journalist and a theater director (which means: I have an accent and some Israeli traits I cannot change like being direct and resourceful).

In recent years I discovered the new and exciting world of integrating behavioral health in primary care. I founded and managed an integrated behavioral health program at Anchorage Neighborhood Health Center in Alaska. I’m continuing to learn and practice the connection between mind, body, and heart.
