Rachel Wilensky, PsyD, a licensed psychologist, has extensive experience and expertise in working with adolescents, college- age students, and adults. She specializes in working with anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, and ADHD. She also has a strong interest in helping people who are struggling with relationship and adjustment difficulties, such as issues related to communication, organization, motivation, and reaching personal goals.
Rachel has worked and trained in a variety of settings for over 20 years, including hospitals, outpatient facilities, schools, and residential treatment centers. She uses an integrative approach that is personalized for her clients’ needs. She is trained in and integrates Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), mindfulness and self compassion approaches. She believes deeply in each person’s inherent strengths and sources of resilience, helping her clients to marshal these resources in overcoming challenges they may face.
