Personal Statement

I am a board-certified psychiatrist with licenses in California and Hawaii. I take a practical approach to integrative wellness and psychiatry and focus on the present moment despite asking historical questions as well. I prefer to treat people who have a positive attitude and expectation from treatment. I enjoy using the tools of positive psychiatry and working on finding strength rather than illness and to promote the well-being of patients. I am interested in treating more patients with ADHD (including adults who think they may have developed this issue later in life), and eating disturbances, especially common issues such as binge eating disorder.

Currently, I am accepting new patients for evaluation, and ongoing medication management for wellness. I particularly enjoy helping patients with weight loss. The typical wait time for a new patient opening is 1-2 weeks. I currently offer telehealth visits. You may request an appointment by clicking on the "request appointment" link below. I have a flexible schedule at this time although the best time for appointments tends to be between 4 and 9 on weekdays as I am also a hospitalist.
