Personal Statement
I am an active therapist, sensitive and authentic. I have a deep respect for diversity and the individual’s own path. Together we’ll examine your life, alert to possible contradictions. We’ll explore the wisdom or effectiveness of certain behaviors or beliefs.
Through supportive listening, education, mindfulness training, empowerment and expert guidance, you will become more aware of unhealthy patterns as well as hidden strengths. These discoveries will lead you to make positive changes to improve your life experience. They will strengthen your sense of what you want and what makes you feel good, moment to moment and long term.
We’ll target your immediate concerns first. My patients tend to feel relief in the first few sessions, then often choose to continue therapy in order to better address the underlying cause of their issues. Continued therapy leads to healthier patterns, a more vibrant, satisfying life, and improved capacity for happiness and calm.
