Personal Statement
Dr. Reger is a pediatric neuropsychologist who specializes in the evaluation of children and adolescents to better understand how learning, attention, behavior, and emotional well-being relate to brain development. She has clinical training and expertise in diagnosing neurodevelopmental conditions such as attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and learning disorders. Dr. Reger has unique experience in outpatient and inpatient settings working with individuals with neurologic conditions (especially epilepsy, but also spina bifida, hydrocephalus, brain tumor, tuberous sclerosis, and cerebral palsy), traumatic brain injury, prenatal exposure to substances, and prematurity. Her work focuses on understanding how these conditions impact brain development and may manifest as academic struggles, problems focusing, peer difficulties, poor self-esteem, anxiety, or oppositional behavior.
Families appreciate Dr. Reger’s personable and approachable style. Her openness and warmth set families at ease and create an environment where parents feel comfortable asking questions and collaborating in the evaluation.

Not everyone has a smooth-sailing childhood. Many children experience difficulties learning, focusing, making friends, behaving appropriately, or feeling happy. Often these problems can be due to a medical condition, genetics, environmental factors, or a combination of the above. When those challenges impact their ability to thrive, families may seek a neuropsychological evaluation for support and guidance.
