Personal Statement
As a clinician who specializes in helping clients with relational issues, I believe that when we experience communication challenges and conflict with people we care about most (partners, children, parents, siblings, friends, etc.), our individual quality of life suffers. It is hard to be happy when we find ourselves in relationships that are toxic, unequal/non-reciprocal, or strained. I believe in the healing power of relationships and have witnessed how repairing relationships with loved ones can bring joy, hope, and enrichment to one’s life.
Attending therapy is an important step, but choosing the right therapist to support you can be overwhelming. I would love the opportunity to work with you in helping you get the life you want. Whatever life has thrown at you, there is power and freedom in sharing your story with someone trained to help you heal and overcome adversity. To aid you in your search, I will share with you a bit about my experience, training, treatment philosophy and approach.
