Personal Statement

Psychotherapy is an awakening process to realize who we really are above or beneath our presenting self. My free initial meeting is my gift to clients who want to see if we can work together in meeting their needs and wants. I use a compassionate active and direct (I call it CAD) model of therapy I developed in graduate school. Read paragraph 3 for more info :)

My clinical focus is on the resolution of the following issues: Relationship concerns and marital discord; Emotional and mood disturbances; Personality impairments; Parenting skills management; Addictions; Chronic illness and pain; Accidents, Grief and Trauma; Life transitions and immigration; Stress; and Communication skills.

My work is grounded in Psychodynamic, Family systems and Transpersonal theories. I integrate existential and cognitive-behavioral interventions when applicable. I assist couples and individuals for deeper inner discoveries.
