Personal Statement
The phrase "the blind leading the blind" means one cannot help others go where one has not gone themselves. Helping someone remove obstacles from their life and create the life they want to live requires more than formal education: the therapist must have successfully done their inner work, visioning, and transforming. After all, you'd never choose a physically weak fitness instructor or a broke financial advisor. Whether you are looking to get rid of debilitating emotional symptoms or to thrive fully in your life, you need to trust that your guide has intimate knowledge of that kind of journey.
In addition to formal education and more than 20 yrs. of clinical experience (until 2021, I was Director of Psychology & Clinical Training at a hospital and faculty at Tufts Medical School; I then transitioned into full-time private practice), I've worked on myself in therapy, sat in spiritual ceremonies, gone on psychedelic journeys, and sought transformation.
In me, you won't just get a skilled, experienced professional. You will get the totality of who I have worked to become over the course of my life. I will offer you compassion, clarity, direction, and practical strategies needed to help you get unstuck and become more of who you are meant to be.
