Personal Statement
As a therapist, I work alongside you to help you better understand yourself, learn new coping strategies, and live a life more congruent with your worldview and values. I highly value your individual needs and unique background and work to provide an environment that feels safe and specifically tailored to your needs. I have experience with working with people from different racial, cultural, sexual, and gender identities. I enjoy this work.
As a licensed clinical psychologist, I am a generalist by trade and education, and have experience working with children, adolescents, college-age individuals, and adults. Through my career, I have developed particular interest and areas of specialty in working with children and/or their families, college-age individuals, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder and Learning Disabilities, interpersonal violence survivors, and with people working to better their relationships. However, I welcome individuals with varied concerns or goals into my practice.
