Personal Statement

As an integrative therapist, I draw from various psychotherapy orientations. This allows me to tailor therapy to your unique needs and allows for a truly collaborative process in deciding in which direction to move forward and how. Given that successful therapy outcome is contingent upon on a strong therapeutic relationship between client and therapist, my first priority is nurturing that rapport by creating a safe, supportive and nonjudgmental environment. I believe therapy is most effective when it is client-centered, resonates with the client, is empirically validated by the research, flexible and demystified. Therefore, you can expect me to be genuine and transparent about my ideas and approaches. My style is always warm and direct.
