Personal Statement
Humans can experience profound emotional loss, disrepair, and disconnection. But within the same beings, they can also find hope, reconciliation, and healing. I am always awestruck by humans’ abilities to overcome some of life’s most difficult challenges. Through my years of experience helping people through life-altering diagnoses and hardships, I have found that human connection is what brings about healing. Sometimes, we cannot find it within ourselves to share our needs or thoughts with those around us, and we need more than what our individual coping mechanisms can handle. It is times like these that a therapist can provide a tremendous service—connecting to your humanity and clarifying your path toward renewal.
I provide therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families. There comes a point where you can no longer solve your issues on your own. You may feel stuck or constantly down. Maybe you are suffering from a tremendous loss or trauma. Maybe it’s becoming too difficult to live with a mental health diagnosis, and you need a strategy for coping. Individuals see me for a number of reasons; what I do is provide a safe place for you to share your emotions, working through these challenges to transformation.
Couples and families see me for conflict resolution—constant arguing, loss of intimacy, insecurity, stagnation, divorce, sibling/parenting issues, etc. For me, restoring marital and family relationships is the key to happiness and harmony. I have a passion for guiding people toward connection and eventually toward reconciliation.
