Personal Statement

I collaborate with couples, individuals and families to aid them in strengthening their own resources to bring healing to their lives and relationships. I particularly enjoy working with couples in conflict and with women and adolescents around issues of identity, anxiety, shame, depression, and grief or trauma.

Dea works with families dealing with: communication breakdowns, unhealthy family dynamics and roles, blending families, parenting, and unhealthy emotional boundaries. She also delights in coming alongside women and men navigating issues of identity, codependency, anxiety, depression, shame, and grief.

Being known and understood can result in reducing unhealthy relational dynamics, decreasing patterns of dysfunctional thoughts and behaviors, and contribute to the alleviation of symptoms of depression, anxiety, shame, and loneliness.
