Personal Statement

In over thirty years as a practicing licensed social worker clients have come to therapy with a variety of concerns that mirror the concerns of many who become caught up in the anxiety ridden society of which we are a part. Separation and divorce, single parenting, chemical dependency, family conflict, alienation in marriage, lose of "self" in the family, gay/lesbian identity, depression/anxiety/fear, bereavement, marital discord, distancing and an affair, problems with acting out children, school problems, engaged couples unsure of their commitment, just to name a few.
