Personal Statement
I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in California, Oklahoma, and Nevada. I started seeing clients in grad school in 2001, with a primary focus on women's issues, substance abuse, codependency, life cycle development & transitions, depression and anxiety.
I utilize techniques from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, DBT/Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing, my approach to therapy is Humanistic/Psychodynamic – collaborative counseling in a space of acceptance and understanding, while considering how experiences in childhood and adolescence have played a role in the challenges my clients are facing.
