Personal Statement
I have been treating individuals, couples, and families in private practice for many years. I am honored to be chosen and trusted by clients to help them in an array of areas of difficulty in life. Most of my background, training and experience are focused on helping people come into wholeness in the area of relationships with other people, with themselves, with food/substances, or with God.
Although I specialize in marriage and family relationships, eating disorders, and adjustment/trauma work, I also treat other common therapeutic issues.
My professional counseling services come from a Christian/Biblical perspective, although not all of my clients are necessarily practicing Christians. I honor each of my clients' right to self-determination regarding their spiritual journey and process in counseling sessions. I enjoy providing Christian professional counseling by integrating strong clinical skills with Biblical healing principles. As such, I have received advanced training in Andrew Miller's HeartSync healing model, which is grounded in brain science and attachment theory and has found great advancement in working with mild to severe trauma recovery. I receive ministry oversight from David and Amy Black, owners and founders of Undivided Heart, Inc and The Gold Monarch Healing Center in Abilene, Texas as well my pastor Jay Moeller of Legacy Church, New Braunfels.
I also offer Life and Leadership Coaching for individuals, businesses, ministries and churches. I believe every person has gifts and a destiny to fulfill. It is my desire to help you reach your destiny and to live your best life in every area of life.
