Personal Statement

Hello! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families. I have experience helping teens and adults with anxiety, depression, addiction, anger, stress, safety concerns, negative thought patterns, and communication issues. I have worked with people in different settings such as inpatient hospitalization, day programs, addiction treatment, in home therapy, community services, and outpatient therapy.

I understand that there is no one size fits all therapy. I tailor my approach based on what you need and primarily use the practices of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I strive to help people find the root of their struggles as someone who is person centered, collaborative, humorous, and empathetic.
