Personal Statement
I provide therapeutic services for adolescents, young adults, and their families. Navigating through this time of great change and personal growth requires support and encouragement. I provide both in a safe and inclusive space, welcoming all backgrounds. I work with individuals and families regarding issues like adoption and blended families, and therapy for LBGTQ individuals.
The objective of my practice is to help youth find practical and attainable coping skills, such as resiliency and personal accountability. Meaningful change and growth come from a supportive environment, so I enjoy working with families to employ this support. This is a great time of identify formation and self-expression, so I engage clients through humor and a perspective of empowerment to find their inner peace. I am trained in art therapy, and I also use cognitive behavioral therapy, expressive therapy, and other skill-building techniques to aid in development.
