Personal Statement

Occasionally, our path through life appears filled with potholes, blind curves, and dead-ends. This can be overwhelming if we lack the tools to surmount these obstacles. Do you occasionally feel you were absent on the day the instruction manual for life was being handed out? If the answer is yes, then you are most definitely not alone. The decision to seek therapeutic counsel, guidance and support is not always a simple one. I feel honored when someone allows me to be a part of their journey towards wellness and greater satisfaction with life.

I have spent several years working primarily with adults to identify the barriers to achieving their life goals. I specialize in working with mood disorders, substance abuse and anxiety. I offer trauma-informed therapy and utilize my extensive experience with CBT, Motivational Interviewing, family systems, EMDR and other trauma-focused techniques and models.

If you don’t know what is wrong, but just know something isn’t working, we can find the root causes of your struggles together. If you believe you know exactly what is the problem but can’t find a solution, I am here to help you find clarity, purpose and direction.
