Personal Statement

I specialize in eating disorders, body image, addictions and childhood trauma. I assist clients with the deep unburdening and integration of childhood wounds, and view symptoms as protective trauma responses (or "parts") that need to be loved back to health. In this process, clients learn to access their own source of power beneath these protective parts. If your goal is beyond symptom reduction and into life-long, visceral transformation, I am here to help you achieve it.

My primary therapeutic approach is Internal Family Systems (IFS), an evidence-based and deeply transformative model. I’ve worked many years in the eating disorder and addiction recovery communities and have seen IFS transform lives by helping clients cultivate compassion towards their addictions and eating disorders, loving these parts back to health!
