Personal Statement

Brianna Grant, LCSW, RPT, is a licensed clinical social worker and a registered play therapist in Nashville, Tennessee who has been working in the field of social work, child welfare and child abuse and neglect for approximately 10 years. Brianna provides direct practice therapy for children, adolescents and their families in private practice. She also contracts with the Sexual Assault Center in Nashville providing therapy for children and adolescents who have experienced sexual abuse and trauma. Brianna has received specialized training and utilizes the treatment modalities of Play Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, Attachment, Self-Regulation and Competency (ARC model), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy and is an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR- Level II) practitioner.

Brianna also provides professional training and lectures on the topics of child sexual abuse, trauma, interpersonal neurobiology, attachment and play therapy. She has served as a guest presenter for the graduate programs at David Lipscomb University and Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee and previously for the graduate program at Argosy University in Atlanta, Georgia.
