Personal Statement
You can do this. I can help. As we continue through life, we will always be faced with stress. It will be there no matter how much we fight, hide, avoid, ignore, or deny it. At times, it is not so bad so we carry on without much notice. Other times, stress is overwhelming and seems like an impossible challenge to overcome. However, stress is not a bad thing in itself. Stress is an indicator. Our personal action dictates if it becomes positive or negative. To make the right choices when faced with stress is often very simple. With the skills developed in counseling, stress can change from an impassible storm to wind in your sails. I have learned a set of strategies for negotiating the many forms of stress. These skills do not only help me in navigating stress in my own life, but they also allow me to effectively share and teach these skills to those interested. Stress can be a compass in life and used to stay on track in discovering your true purpose. Have you found yours?
