Personal Statement

My treatment groups are varied with specialization in Children (6 to 10), Preteen/Tweens (11 to 13), and Adolescents/Teenagers (14 to 19), and Adults dealing with anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders or grief issues. I find that a nurturing approach works best in my work. I am able to re-frame behaviors and challenge insights in a non-threatening, nonjudgmental way, which has brought much relief and success to my clients.

I own a group practice, Meaningful Conversations Counseling, for which I have carefully chosen therapists whom are ethical, skillful, inviting and varied in their talents and expertise. We are a small group nestled in an Office Park in Swartz Creek that is easy to find and has parking behind the building for those who wish to be more discreet about attending therapy. The office suite has been recently updated and you will find both the therapy offices and the waiting room to be comfortable and clean. In addition, we have a separate office full of art and play supplies that is ideal for young clients and even adult clients who enjoy painting, drawing, using clay, etc. while they are having a therapy session.

In addition to individual therapy, we can accomodate group therapies, and Supervision for LLPCs looking for full licensure.
