These are among the most distressing symptoms that everyday people experience. However, you don’t have to go through these things alone. Having a confidential and safe place to work though problems with a trusted therapist can be very helpful.

Ava Hanson, MS, LAMFT, CTRS at Swinton & Associates Counseling is a marriage and family therapist that can help you define your goals, uncover the barriers that are holding you back from reaching them, and feel safe and heard enough to find courage to change and get relief from your symptoms. She believes that you have the answers to your heart's deepest questions, and she holds a space for you to discover them within and then live them.

She has been working in various therapeutic settings since 2009, and she specializes in relationship therapy. She has a unique ability to connect with teenagers and their parents who are struggling, as well as has a very high success rate in helping couples overcome problems to make their relationship stronger.

I am a passionate and committed person and this translates to my work as a Marriage and Family Therapist and Recreation Therapist. I think that it is things I do outside of work that shape my character and make me an effective professional.
