I have been a marriage and family therapist for over 15 years and have experience helping couples improve their relationship by focusing on changing ineffective communication patterns and building communication skills that foster problem resolution, cooperation, mutual support, and non-blaming and non-defensive ways to address concerns. I believe couples are happiest when they can communicate their true vulnerable needs and express emotion in a way that invites understanding and compassion.
I have been a therapist and program manager for a residential treatment facility providing therapy for troubled adolescents and their families. I have extensive experience with marital counseling, teenagers/adolescents, pornography addiction treatment, and recovery from depression and anxiety.
